Sunday, August 19th we began our road trip back home to Utah.We drove half way to St. George and spent the night. I worked on my friendship bracelet in the car and took pictures of Brooklyn with my camera so I could see if she was asleep.
Please note that this was Brooklyn's first trip out of state. This trip she went to Arizona (for a few mins), Nevada and California. Big events in her life!
We hit up Ichiban's for dinner, a St. George tradition and it did not disappoint.
We spent the evening swimming. Brooklyn pretty much screamed the whole time as she does around water most of the time. And when we got back to the house we were staying at she crawled up onto the couch and laid her head down on my lap and was asleep two seconds later. It was pretty darn cute!
The next morning on our way out of town we stopped for a little bit at the St. George Temple. We even walked through the visitors center and learned a few new things about the temple.
As you can tell by now we tried to go to as many temples as we could this trip. The only temple we missed that was close to where we were was the Los Angeles Temple. It was just too far out of our way plus we had both already been there before.
And when we got home we had no food in the house and no desire to go grocery shopping so we ordered Papa John's for dinner. Perfect way to end our fun vacation.
We seriously had such a blast this vacation and made so many fun memories as a family. We are so glad we got to go.
