Adam's grandparents came a few weekends ago from Denver to visit and we are so glad they came. We jam packed the whole weekend with fun things and we loved hanging out with them. And we were so glad Brookie finally got to meet her great grandparents!
They arrived Friday afternoon and that night we had a BBQ at Sarah and Branden's house.
Grandma spoiled the little girls each with their very own doll. The girls just loved them. They are so precious.
Saturday we all
headed downtown and took a tour of the Conference Center. I've been to the Conference Center many times but I have never been on a tour. It's a pretty amazing building. Although we are pretty sure our tour guide was telling us false information. I think we knew more about the building than he did. ha!
For lunch we headed over to the Lion House Pantry and it was delicious. My broccoli cheddar soup was to die for. I'm dying to go back! Brookie fell asleep during lunch and looked pretty uncomfortable in her stroller.
We walked around Temple Square a little more and took some pictures by the temple. This temple sure is gorgeous!
Then we headed up to Brigham City to go through the temple open house. We had already been but we I'm always up for an excuse to go inside the temple again!
We were all pretty exhausted once we finally got home from the Brigham City so we called it a night and we all went home a little early.
Sunday Grandpa treated us all to Texas Roadhouse for lunch! Yum! Then we headed back to our house and hung out the rest of the day. The little girls had so much fun just playing with Grandma and Grandpa.
And then we said our goodbye's because it was time for Grandma and Grandpa to head home.
It was such a fabulous weekend that we hope to recreate again soon!
