My parents dog, Casper, hasn't been doing very well lately. His back legs didn't work so he would just drag them around everywhere. A few Saturdays ago my parents finally decided that it was time to let him go. Brooklyn loves Casper so much. Every time I drop her off at my parent's house the first thing she does is looks for Casper. She learned how to be really soft with him and pet him gently. It was pretty cute. So before they took him over to the vet we went over and took some pictures of Brooklyn with Casper.

p.s. did you notice Brooklyn's little pig tails. This was the first day that her hair was long enough for them to stay in. Isn't she just so cute with pigtails?!?
Losing a dog is hard. I'm sorry! And yes . . . the pigtails are adorable.
