On July 7th we went with my family up to the Oakley Rodeo. It's a tradition we do every year (here, here, and here). And this year was Brooklyn's first time going. I got here a cute little jean shirt at the DI. We all got together before the rodeo and had a KFC dinner in the pavilion.
It was pretty hot and sunny for the first 30 minutes of the rodeo but once the sun went behind the mountains it was perfect weather, although the bleachers don't leave much wiggle room.
They weren't going to do the fireworks this year because of all the fires around Utah but they got the go ahead at the last minute. We are so glad they did them. Brooklyn did pretty well with these fireworks as long as she had a binkie in her mouth.
We stayed up at the cabin that night and spent all day Sunday taking naps and eating lots of food.
