Our 4th of July Weekend

We had such a fun 4th of July weekend. Adam and I didn't have work on Friday so we got some stuff done around the house and went shopping for some stuff for our house. Friday night we went to the annual Egbert family rodeo. Every year my grandpa buys everyone tickets to the Oakley rodeo. It is always so fun and I look forward to it every year. Before the rodeo the whole family gets together at the park right by the rodeo and we have a pot luck dinner. At the end of the rodeo they have fireworks which are so fun to watch.

Here we are at dinner:

On the 4th we spent the whole day with Adam's sister and her family. We got up early and went to the farmer's market up in Salt Lake. We ate breakfast there and walked around all of the little booths.

Here we are with Adam's sister Sarah, her husband Branden, and their daughter Addisen.

Us and cute little Addisen at the market:After that we headed over to the Lifetime Fitness Pool and swam for the afternoon. They had a couple water slides which were fun. It was so nice to get out in the sun and relax a little.

After that we went with Sarah and Branden to their extended family BBQ. We had so much fun with their family. We even played a little lawn chair volleyball which was so fun and I was laughing the whole time. We all got a little wet from that game cause you have to hold a cup of water in one hand the whole time you play. Later that night we all played with some sparklers and then watched the neighbors light off fireworks.

And here is Adam so sad because his sparkler was over. haha

It was so nice to have a long three day weekend and to be able to spend it with our families.
