Solar Eclipse Adventure

There was an annular solar eclipse on May 20th so we packed up a picnic dinner and headed out to see if we could see the eclipse. We didn't have any protective eye wear so we just took some pictures. We got a couple good ones where you can see the eclipse. There were a ton of clouds in the sky so we only had a few minutes where you could actually see the sun.

While we were eating our dinner this little dog came up to us. We weren't really by any houses and there were a lot of main roads so we weren't sure where he came from. Adam name him Hank. He played with us for awhile and ate a bunch of our food. Brookie was pretty excited about the dog and kept trying to grab him. Little Hank was so hyper and out of control. I was scared he was going to attach Brooklyn.

I'm not sure why we all look like such hooligans in these pictures. You can't tell but Brooklyn doesn't even have any pants on and her shirt is a mess! ha!

We didn't want to just leave Hank because of all the main roads around so we drove to the nearest neighborhood and by some miracle a family that was outside knew who's dog it was. Amazing!!
