Brooklyn - 10 Months

Another month has gone by and Brooklyn is now 10 months old! This little girl just gets more and more fun by the minute. Here are a few things I want to remember about Brooklyn at 10 months:
  • This little girl is such a busy body. She is always looking for something to grab or play with.
  • She can say mama and dada and she will point to us and say it. She is always talking. I always wonder what she thinks she is saying.
  • She hates to get her diaper changed. I have to really distract her with toys or she will roll away. She always tries to resist getting her diaper put back on.
  • Wears size 3 diapers. Almost about time for size 4.
  • She smiles and laughs a lot but she is does not really make noise a lot when she laughs. You have to really get her laughing to hear her giggle.
  • She got really sick this past month and when we took her to the doctor she had croup and a double ear infection. Poor girl!
  • She has 5 teeth. 2 on the bottom and 3 on top.
  • She loves to clap and give high 5's.
  • Still sleeping great throughout the night. Such a dream baby!
  • Crawls everywhere. Her poor little legs have carpet burns on them.
  • Can open every cupboard and drawer. She loves to get into them and empty out the whole thing.
  • She is getting so good walking with her walker. She will walk all the way across the room and when she hits a wall she will keep pushing and pushing until we turn her around.
  • Still loves her binky. She has to have it with her every second.
  • Wears size 9 month or 12 month clothes.
  • She really recognizes me and Adam and other family members she is around a lot and will let you know who she wants to go to.
  • She loves food. She will pretty much eat any food you give her. If she sees someone eating she will scream until she gets some.
  • Still drinking formula 3-4 times a day and also a few meals of solid food. Hopefully soon we can be done with formula.
  • She is getting pretty big in her car seat. We pretty much never carry her around in it anymore. We always just take her out and carry her. It's almost time for a new car seat.
  • She is starting to have a little stranger danger. She is usually fine but a few times, especially with men it takes her a few minutes to warm up to someone new.
  • She can climb up stairs. We really have to watch her around stairs because she will jet right up them.
  • She is getting so big. She is starting to look more like a little toddler and less like a baby.
  • Loves drinking out of cups and straws.
