Brooklyn's Hip Ultrasound

Little miss Brooklyn had to have a ultrasound on her hips today. At her 2 week appointment the doctor noticed a slight click in her hip when he would rotate the leg. He said it only happened every-so-often so he wasn't too worried about it. At Brooklyn's one month check up the doctor said the click was still there a little bit and to have it checked again at 2 months. He thought she would just grow out of it when her legs got a little stronger. Well, at her 2 month check up the doctor still could feel the click and ordered an ultrasound on her hips just to be sure it wasn't hip dysplagia. This could potentially cause problems with her walking in the future if we don't do something about it now. Worst case scenario would be that Brooklyn would have to wear a brace on her body for a few months. So, today we went and had the ultrasound done. Brooklyn was such a good little baby. She only cried for a few seconds when the doctor was a little rough with her legs. Other than that she just sat there the whole time smiling. And, we are glad to say that her hips look fantastic and there is nothing to worry about:) Such a relief.
