Alpine Loop

A few days ago Adam and I took a drive up the mountains, through the Alpine Loop to see the fall leaves. It had snowed earlier that day (crazy) so I wasn't sure how the mountains would look. As we started going up the mountain there were still a lot of green leaves. But as we got up higher the leaves were bright orange and they looked amazing next to the white snow. It was really a gorgeous sight. I love that we live so close to such beautiful places. The weather was pretty chilly up in the mountains. It got as low as 36 degrees. Brrrrrrr. We ended the night with some delicious sandwiches from Kneaders and yummy pumpkin bread. I'd say it was the perfect evening.
