Last Wednesday we hit the road for the long drive down to California. I got off work early and we packed up the car and were off. Our friends were nice enough to let us borrow their car to drive down there. Even though my car has never really given us trouble, we just didn't feel good about driving it that far. The only problem was that our friends' car didn't have cruise control. Kind of a bummer when you are driving that far.
We were going to spend the night in Vegas to break up the drive but by the time we got to Vegas it was only about 7:00 PM and we decided to just keep going. We did stop for some food in Vegas and Adam was dying to go to the pawn shop from the show "Pawn Stars." Sadly none of the guys from the show were there but it was fun to walk around the store.
We finally got to California about 12:30 at night. The drive wasn't actually too bad and I'm glad we decided to drive the whole way through.
