August 23rd | Kauai
Day 7 consisted of a scenic drive down to PoiPu Beach. We stopped a few places along the way and saw some falls and other scenic items.
We checked out the Spouting Horn which was pretty cool.
▲▲▲ I couldn't stop taking pictures of the flowers.
▲▲▲Then we stopped at Uncle's Shave Ice and tried a whole new kind of shave ice. It was pretty crazy good.
▲▲▲Our next drive was up to Waimea Canyon. Basically the Grand Canyon of Hawaii. It was a long drive up to the top. We stopped and had lunch we had brought on the way up.
▲▲▲ The canyon was gorgeous!!!
▲▲▲We went to the very top and the fog was so thick we couldn't see out to the ocean. I guess that the fog is pretty typical.
▲▲▲We were able to find one spot where you could see the ocean and it was so gorgeous!
