Hawaii Day 5 | Kauai

August 21st | Kauai

Day 5 we spent the morning in Maui and then flew over to Kauai. In the morning we took one last stroll on the beach in Maui and stopped at Ululani's for our favorite shave ice. Unfortunately they didn't have macadamia nut ice cream. So sad!

We got to Kauai in the afternoon and by the time we got all settled into our place it was time to get ready for the luau. I did my hair up in a french braid side bun and put some flowers in my hair.

▲▲▲There were gorgeous peacocks everywhere!!

▲▲▲We were greeted with bead leis as we walked in and then taken on a little shuttle ride around the beautiful grounds.

▲▲▲Right before dinner started they showed us how they cook kalua pork. The pig had been cooking in the ground all day.

The dinner was a buffet and was pretty delicious. We ate until we were sick. After dinner they had a little performance with a lot of different dancers and such. It was a pretty fun experience.
