Hawaii Day 6 | Kauai

August 22nd | Kauai

Day 6 we started by going to Toni's friend's restaurant and having breakfast. I thought it was so funny that it was called Eggberts! I had the most amazing macadamia nut pancakes with coconut syrup. 

We went on a drive around the island. We first stopped and did a little bit of snorkeling. It was so much fun! We had a little cove all to ourselves. We even saw a couple getting married down the beach. We were a little scared about the sharks since so many attacks have happened recently so we didn't go out too far.

 We kept driving all the way to Hanalei. It was gorgeous views the whole way there. We stopped a little gulf to get out and stretch our feet. Adam took the opportunity to jump off the dock. 

 ▲▲▲There was a little taco truck in the gulf so we stopped and got some lunch. This was one of the most amazing tacos I have ever had!!

▲▲▲We drove back towards where we were staying (we rented a house) and stopped and did a little more snorkeling at Lydgate. It is a man made little cove to snorkel in. It has rocks built up all around it so we didn't have to worry about sharks getting in.
