We spent a nice relaxing weekend at our cabin watching General Conference. The gate to the cabin is still closed so we couldn't drive our cars in but there wasn't enough snow to snowmobile in. So, some of us walked and the rest rode on the 4 wheeler. Brookie loved riding on the 4 wheeler and stuck her hands out to feel the breeze the whole way there.
The high chair up at the cabin didn't have any straps or a tray so we had to use an apron to tie Brookie down. I made sure to stay close by her because I did not want another highchair accident.
For some reason Adam want to paint my mom's toenails.
Brookie had lots of fun playing with her aunts and uncles and cousins.
My mom made this yummy Oreo cake. She got the idea off of Pinterest of course! And Brookie loved the few bites that Aunt Katie gave her. Is there anything this girl won't eat?!?
Liz was babysitting Alison for the weekend so she came up to the cabin with us. Alison did everyone's hair and makeup. Don't we just look fabulous!?!
Daxton loves Brooklyn and is always giving her kisses! The cousins all had fun playing together. Notice Brookie's yellow bruise on her forehead. Gross!
It was our goal to get Brookie to crawl this weekend. My brother tied a spatula to Brookie and hung a gold fish to the end to try and get her to crawl to it. No such luck. She is still not crawling.
Saturday when we go there the weather was great. But Sunday it started getting a lot colder and was snowing. We weren't really prepared for the cold weather. We had to bundle the kids up for the ride out to the cars. Brookie was so funny and just fell asleep in the freezing cold with snow falling down on her on the ride out.
We stuck Liz and Adam on the side of the 4 wheeler on the way out and they got so muddy! We didn't even know how muddy they were until we got out to the car because we were all huddling with our faces down.
Awesome weekend watching conference, hanging out with my family and eating lots of yummy food!
