Brooklyn - 5 Months

Brooklyn is 5 months old today. She is getting so big and her little personality is really starting to shine through. Here are a few things I want to remember about Brooklyn at 5 months:

-Brooklyn is starting to sit up on her own. She won't just lay on her back anymore. She is always trying to sit up. When we sit her up she will put her hands on the ground to balance herself and she can sit up all on her own for a short amounts of time.
-She has a hard time going to sleep when there are a lot of people around because she always wants to be involved with everything that is going on. We usually have to go into a different room or put a blanket over her head when other people are around to get her to sleep.
-Talks like crazy all the time. Little squeaks and giggles all day long. It is so cute.

-She finally rolled from her back to her stomach...and rolled right off the couch. Luckily she didn't get hurt. We have to be careful where we set her down now. But, she hasn't really rolled much after that.
-She is able to grab and things and play with toys now. She loves anything she can get her hands on and she immediately puts everything in her mouth.
-Her binky is always attached to her and she can pick it up and usually get it in her mouth or at least chew on the corner of it. She is still learning the coordination of actually getting the right part in her mouth.
-Still is sleeping through the night. She goes to sleep really easily each night (unless we are around a lot of people). I usually either rock her to sleep for a few seconds of just put her in her crib and she is out in a few minutes. Usually sleeps about 8:30 to 6:30, wakes up for a bottle and sleeps again until about 8:30 or 9:00.
-Usually takes about 3-4 naps during the day.
-She loves her blanket. She has to have the blanket snuggled up around her face to go to sleep. I usually let her fall asleep with her blanket but I take it away once she is asleep because I don't sleep well thinking that she may be suffocating on her blanket.
-Wears only size 2 diapers now.
-She has really chunked up this past month. Her thighs are so cute and chubby and her cheeks are huge. Love them!!
-Still doesn't really like taking baths. The water scares her and she usually just ends up screaming the whole time.
-She really only has one nickname right now, Brookie or sometimes Brookie Bo Bo.
