Brooklyn - 2 Months

Brooklyn is 2 months old as of yesterday. She had her 2 month doctor appointment today and had to get her immunizations. It was the saddest thing I have ever seen. Mama cried a little bit:(

Here are Brooklyn's stats at two months old:
Weight: 10 lbs. 2.5 ounces 31%
Height: 22.5 inches 55%
Head Cir.: 15.6 inches 69%

 A few things I want to remember about Brooklyn at 2 months:

• She so much more alert and awake during the day. She is not sleeping quite as much during the day and when she is awake she looks around at her surroundings a lot.
• Usually eats about 3 ounces of formula every 3 hours. 
• She used to love when we would burp her after she ate and would usually just fall asleep. Now when we try to burp her she cries like crazy. 
• Sleeps about 7 hours every night. She isn't quite consistent yet so every few nights she'll wake up half way through and I have to rock her back to sleep or sometimes give her a bottle. 
• Smiles like crazy. When she is full and has a clean diaper she is as happy as can be and we can get her to smile so big. 
• Her newborn clothes are a little tight on her but her 0-3 months clothes are a little baggy on her. She doesn't really have any clothes right now that fit her perfectly.
• Her hair is still dark and is getting a little longer. Except the hair at the front of her head around her hairline has rubbed off a little from her headbands. So, she just has to keep wearing headbands to cover her baldness up:)
• She wears size one diapers. They are still a little big on her so I think she will be wearing them for awhile longer. 
• She loves the bath when it is nice and warm but she starts screaming as soon as you put water on her head.
• Still loves her binky. I'm not sure what we would do if we didn't have a binky. She would be one sad baby.
• She loves to be sitting up now. She doesn't really like laying down on her back. She likes to be propped up so she can see everything that is going on. Hence why she loves her bumbo.
• She is a lot better at holding her head up on her own but still has some work to do.
• Her eyes are completely blue now. Love them:)
• She loves sleeping on her stomach. I swear she would sleep so much longer during the night if we could let her sleep on her stomach. But she hates being on her stomach when she is awake.
• We let her sleep in her crib in her room a few nights and she did great but we usually end up just having her sleep in the bassinet in our room because it's easier for us.
• She is great at sleeping through sounds such as the vacuum or us talking loud. She even sleeps great when we have all the lights on. She is a pretty good little sleeper.
• Every now and then she gets gas and you can tell she is really uncomfortable and is fussy. Makes me kind of sad:(
• Loves her daddy. If she is ever fussy Adam can always get her to stop crying. It's actually quite annoying when I try for a few minutes to get her to stop crying and I hand her to Adam and she immediately stops. 
• Loves to hold onto the collar of our shirts when she is laying on our chest. It's so cute:)
• Overall she is a pretty easy baby. We can cart her around with us anywhere we go and she does great.
