We ended up going on a very spontaneous trip. Adam only had a couple of weeks left to use his PTO before it just went away but we were super busy. Sunday evening we were just hanging out with my mom at our house after dinner and realized if we moved just a couple of things around and left that night we would have 6 days to go somewhere. We literally packed in 2 hours (with the help of my mom!) and were on the road. We didn't have any plans or hotels booked. We just got in the car and decided to drive to Vegas and make a plan on the way. It was crazy and a little stressful but once we were in the car we were so excited to have an adventure.
We drove into the night and stopped in St. George at the most ghetto hotel. We didn't want to spend much since we were only sleeping for a couple of hours. It was kind of gross but we all got some sleep and were ready to keep driving in the morning. We then drove to Vegas and I booked a hotel on our drive down. We stayed at the Stratosphere which was so fun. We swam in their pool and ate dinner at their buffet. We went up to the top of the Stratosphere which was awesome and so scary. We had fun just walking around but not getting to close to the windows.
