Valentine's Day was so much fun this year. It is always one of my favorite holidays but it was more fun now that Brooklyn is a little older. Brooklyn had her first Valentine's party at preschool and she had to bring valentines for all of her friends. She had fun decorating them all and couldn't wait to give them to her friends.
We had fun all week making heart shaped foods like pink heart shaped pancakes with heart strawberries and heart shaped sandwiches.
Brooklyn all ready for her preschool party. She of course wore a heart shirt. She also had the share bag that day which is always fun for her!
Valentine's night we set out a little gift for Brooklyn and blew up a bunch of balloons around the room. We couldn't wait for her to wake up.
Brooklyn was so excited in the morning and loved all of her gifts. Adam even managed to have flowers sitting out for me in the morning. He was sneaky and had bought them the day before without me knowing.
We dressed Brooklyn and Harper up in their heart outfits. It was Harper's first Valentine's Day and she looked so cute! We love our little Valentines!
Valentine's evening we got Olive Garden take-out and had a fun family dinner complete with candles. After dinner my mom and Jocelynn (one of the missionaries that used to live with my mom) came over and we all made chocolate covered strawberries. Yum!
And the best part of my Valentine's day was that Adam got up all night with Harper and let me sleep all night long. It was amazing! I haven't slept that well in a long time. Best present ever! I'm so glad I get to have Adam as my Valentine each year!
