Brooklyn started preschool on September 2nd, 2014. She is going to a cute little preschool in my neighbor's basement so we only have to walk across the street to get there. Her teacher is Miss Melissa and she has lots of kids in her class that she already knows from church. She goes for 2 hours every Tuesday and Thursday.
I have been so excited for her to start preschool. She is such a sweetheart and loves being around other kids but it takes her awhile to open up and feel comfortable so I was hoping preschool would help her come out of her shell a little bit. She was also so excited to start school and ran down the driveway ready to go. When we got there she had to take off her shoes and backpack and put them on the rug and wash her hands before they could start playing with toys. She got a little nervous and had to have me help her. But after a few weeks she walks up the driveway herself and goes inside without me. She has already made such big improvements and learned so much. She loves going to preschool!
