We were planning on going to California this summer but hadn't actually decided when. So when Toni told us she was going to get baptized in a couple of weeks we decided to head down and be there for her. We ended up making it a week trip. We only had about 4 days from when we decided to go to actually leaving. It was a super quick decision and we forgot to pack a lot of things but it all worked out and we had a blast. Adam and I were both needing a vacation so it was perfect timing. We left Sunday June 22nd and drove half way to Las Vegas and stayed at the Flamingo. We had a yummy buffet for dinner and Brookie loved looking out the window at dinner at all the flamingos. They also had a really awesome pool that we went to that night and also Monday morning before we headed to Cali.
We got to Tom and Toni's house in the later afternoon on Monday June 23rd and Toni had dinner ready for us. It do not really enjoy the drive to California so it was nice to break it up into two days.
