This past weekend our HOA hosted a free movie day. So, we decided to pick a kid's movie and take Brookie. We figured that if she couldn't last the whole movie and we had to leave early that at least we wouldn't have wasted any money. The movie theater was just the local dollar theater so it was really ghetto. We went and saw Hotel Transylvania. They gave us all popcorn and drinks and a treat. Before the movie started they gave each person a raffle ticket and gave out some prizes. Most of the prizes were really dumb like a t-shirt or a lunch pail. Pretty dumb. But there were a couple of good prizes and we ended up winning two! We won a $25 gift card to Cafe Rio (our favorite!) and we won a one night stay in a resort up in Park City. We were pretty excited that we won two great prizes. As far as the movie, it was actually really cute! Brookie sat through the first half eating her snacks and drink and then fell asleep for the second half. It worked out perfect and was such a fun little family activity.
